B2B eCommerce Architect / Sr. Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Architecting eCommerce solutions for the Resideo enterprise.
  • Completing robust, high-quality senior developer-level development activities to assist in the delivery, configuration and development (if necessary) of B2B eCommerce features.
  • Provide SAP Commerce Cloud, Sitecore Commerce Server, subject matter expertise and technical leadership, along with related solution recommendations.
  • Provide coaching, training and knowledge transfer sessions to new partners, developers, and support resources.
  • Provide inputs to strategic plan and annual budget in support of strategies and objectives.
  • Provide cost & effort estimations to be used in project cost estimation and business case development.
  • Drive commonality in the eCommerce application platform across the Resideo enterprise.
  • Ensure IT systems and applications meet the requirements of the businesses and their processes.
  • Actively participate in monthly eCommerce performance reviews.
  • Assist in the development of monitoring solutions as needed and work to continually optimize platform performance.
  • Implement application corrective action plans as required.
  • Ensure that the appropriate User Experience tools/concepts including but not limited to wireframes, prototypes, stakeholder mapping, touch point analysis, and / or journey mapping to deliver exceptional experiences on all products, systems, and services
  • Ensure alignment and support of all critical systems relative to security and data privacy policies and standards inclusive of accessibility, vulnerability and website inventory management.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Assist in creation of the system design and functional specifications for all new development projects.
  • Remediate bugs and issues found during testing.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing business requirements.
  • Provide assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and IT.
  • Ensure IT systems and applications meet the requirements of the businesses and their processes.
  • Partner with project delivery teams to ensure adherence to configuration and coding standards.
  • Participate in formal customer reviews during project execution and project completion coupled with ongoing support/optimization reviews to improve customer satisfaction and ongoing ROI growth.
  • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in the evaluation, design, planning and deployment of emerging solutions to drive exceptional experiences and increased productivity and growth
  • Write technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations, user guide, etc.
  • Creates and updates technical documentation, playbooks, and specifications of all platforms developed
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and business process.
  • Research and recommend innovative and contemporary technology solutions on the eCommerce Platform.
  • Drive exceptional user experience through innovative delivery
  • Ensure compliance with security and data privacy policies and standards inclusive of accessibility, vulnerability and website inventory management.
  • Serve as a liaison to the solution operations team(s) to document and facilitate successful implementation and support of solution
  • Advise and create methods to improve technical solution processes


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Marketing or related field required
  • Minimum 5 years of Information Technology or related experience in medium / large scale organizations, preferably with experience deploying and supporting customer facing applications.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant Sitecore Commerce Server and/or SAP Commerce Cloud experience
  • Basic understanding of CMMi and ITIL Processes and demonstrated experience utilizing both waterfall and agile project management methodologies


Additional Qualifications:
  • Preference for 5 years of relevant Sitecore Commerce Server or SAP Commerce Cloud experience
  • Experience in using Six Sigma Green Belt/DFSS tools. Six Sigma / DFSS certification is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to communicate across borders
  • Exceptional consultative, project management and multi-tasking abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
  • Results-driven team player
  • Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures, and guidelines to support operational processes
