What you’ll do:

  • Provide individualized and group coaching to sales reps, focusing on areas such as prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting solutions, objection handling, and closing deals.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales team, promoting accountability and self-improvement.

  • Develop training materials, including presentations, handouts, and quizzes, that effectively communicate sales concepts and best practices

  • Collaborate with the sales leadership team to identify areas for improvement and develop training programs that address those needs

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sales training, and incorporate new ideas into training programs

  • Utilize data-driven insights and performance metrics to track progress and measure the effectiveness of coaching efforts; make adjustments as needed to ensure the achievement of desired outcomes

  • Coach the coaches: create programs that enable sales leaders to improve their sales coaching skills, including generating interest, discovery, creating customer value, and deal reviews

The experience you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience as a sales trainer or a similar role

  • Experience working in a B2B sales environment

  • Previous sales experience 

  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies, techniques, and best practices.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner

  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback to sales representatives

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience using sales enablement tools, such as Salesforce

  • Certification to facilitate and coach to leading edge sales skills, including Force Management methodologies

  • Technology industry experience

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation for this position in the US ranges between $124,370 -  $186,555 USD annually + applicable bonus. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
