B2C Sr Copywriter

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Copywriter to join our rapidly growing creative team. The Copywriter works closely with the creative and/or members of the marketing team at all levels to generate and execute concepts for interactive media.

This includes print, websites, online advertising campaigns, email marketing, viral and other online marketing initiatives. The copywriter is expected to actively contribute to the development of original solutions and create polished, final deliverables whether working solo or under the guidance of a more senior creative. A solid familiarity with trends in online marketing, advertising and the interactive digital space is required.

Responsibilities

• The Copywriter works closely with the creative and/or marketing and members of the project team at all levels to generate and execute concepts for interactive media
• This includes websites, online advertising campaigns, email marketing, viral and other online marketing initiatives as well as print
• The copywriter is expected to actively contribute to the development of original solutions and create polished, final deliverables whether working solo or under the guidance of a more senior creative
• Gathering and organizing written content
• Status reporting to a team leader and other stakeholders (PMs)
• Creating content matrixes and/or other written content
• Acquiring brand knowledge and managing reference materials
• Write original copy for ads and social networks
• Use SEO practices to optimize articles and increase visibility
• Consult with Designers to enrich text with visual aids


Day to Day Role:

• Translation projects coordination
• Gathering and organizing written content
• Status reporting to a team leader and other stakeholders (PMs)
• Creating content matrixes and/or other written content
• Acquiring brand knowledge and managing reference materials
• Write original copy for ads and social networks
• Use SEO practices to optimize articles and increase visibility
• Consult with Designers to enrich text with visual aids Qualifications

Requirements

• Exceptional portfolio that demonstrates conceptual thinking
• 8+ years writing experience - of which, 3+ advertising or marketing agency (traditional or interactive) preferred
• Strong understanding of UX principles and how it relates copy
• Outstanding writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles
• Familiar and successful in both marketing and e-commerce style writing
• Expert at strategic brainstorming, campaign development and creative execution
• Acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
• Knowing who your audience is and how they interact with your content
• Creating copy that will convert, inform and be shared
• Working knowledge of technical SEO, PR and analytics to consistently improve copy
