Job Description:
The FP&A Team is dedicated to analyzing and presenting information that assists Senior Management in executing day-to-day operations and developing a long-term strategy for BAAM. This includes daily weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to both BAAM and Blackstone Senior Management as well as public company reporting requirements. The information that is analyzed and reported includes among other things, revenues, AUM, investor inflows/outflows, loss carry forwards, returns and expenses. This position will play a transformative role for the team, inclusive of outsourcing, technology solutions and re-envisioning processes for future state.
Candidates should exhibit strong technical, analytical and leadership skills as well as exceptional communication skills. Candidates should be self-motivated, team-oriented individuals with innovative solutions who thrive on challenge in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The comparatively small size of this group offers an opportunity to liaise with various teams across the BAAM platform.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and deliver forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis reports to drive optimization of business decision-making and planning
- Analyze and present key financial data and relevant information to Senior Management to drive business performance and strategy
- Coordinate the collection and analysis of key metrics across multiple internal teams and external resources
- Implement new processes/systems creating operational efficiencies and reporting enhancements
- Ongoing analysis and development of financial reporting for new products, industry trends and key quantifiers that assist Senior Management in determining profitability of products and measure the growth and drivers that impact profitability
- Conduct financial modeling and sensitivity analysis
- Support long-term and short-term management strategy and plan
- Further develop and implement policy and procedures
- Focus on technology and long-term productivity improvements to increase efficiency
- Manage special projects as needed
Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have:
- 4+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to summarize issues, develop recommendations, and make decisions
- Self-starter with an ability to be proactive and take initiative
- Ability to manage tight timelines and prioritize diverse tasks
- Ability to partner across teams, summarize issues, develop recommendations, and make decisions
- Highly proficient in Excel and Power Point
- Experience with Anaplan and/or Tableau preferred but not required
- Highly organized and attentive to detail
- Possesses a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
- Takes accountability for work, is receptive to constructive feedback

Expected annual base salary range:
$115,000 - $140,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
