What are we looking for?

If you want to work in a start-up style product tech team with a high quality pipeline, surrounded by a team of skilled engineers, we have the perfect challenge for you. Our "Product first" team combines long term job security with the excitement of a small(er) company.

We are looking for a talented, intermediate/senior level back-end developer to join our internal development crew. You should not only be able to tackle complex problems, but also take ownership of project-related tasks, provide technical guidance and support to fellow developers, and actively contribute to the daily activities of the team. As any role within Cyrex, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch quality on any product, and will have at your disposal an entire team of seniors that can help, mentor, validate and challenge along the way.

About you

As part of the development team, you will be part of all types of tasks befitting your seniority and expertise, as well as any technical brainstorm and discussion on how to best solve the problems we are faced with. Also, you'll be expected to have technical oversight of the Backend/devops stack of a specific project. This includes proposing changes, flagging issues as well as be responsible for maintaining and improving general quality standards of the whole backend.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with Backend architecture/development
• Go: minimum 2 years of experience
• Node.js: minimum 2 years of experience
• Kubernetes: minimum 1 year experience
• Good grasp of web application security
• Hand-on SQL experience
• Minimal cloud infrastructure knowledge
• Comfortable with software architecture
• CI/CD and automation
• Problem solver
• Speak, read and write in English
• Be a team player

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services
