Back-End Developer (Remote U.S.)

We are seeking a Back-End Developer to contribute to our ecommerce platform. You would be working alongside the Ecommerce Product Owner; this individual will be responsible for ongoing feature / functionality build-out of our ecommerce platform. The ideal candidate should have experience building robust web applications with a knack for testing and quality assurance. This opportunity is ideal for an individual who is passionate about site reliability and customer satisfaction.

What you can do for us:

• Maintain and support the development of the ecommerce website and collaborate with the ecommerce team to implement new features
• Be the internal expert on all things web development
• Partner with our Web Designer to deliver a modern UX/UI
• Ensure authentication and protection of data
• Optimize API requests to return optimal results
• Continuously identify and develop fixes for bugs and other issues to ensure optimal website performance
• Partner with internal teams, including Product, Marketing, and Customer Service to understand requirements, user needs and design feasibility

Who we’re looking for:

• 3-10 years’ experience developing web applications
• Python, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS required
• Python Framework experience required
• FastAPI experience preferred
• GraphQL required and Rest API preferred
• PostgreSQL database experience preferred
• React, Bootstrap preferred
• Experience with AWS preferred
• Experience with Docker preferred
• B2B ecommerce experienced preferred
• Ecommerce Development + UI/UX experience preferred
• Familiar with unit testing and responsive design
• Familiar with Test Driven Development
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Salary range: $100k-$120k/year, commensurate with experience and geographic location
