Your Role and Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:
As a Software Engineering Lead you will be leading a software development team that
deliver new features improvements and business value our clients. In addition you will work with our customers to understand their product enhancement requests resolve any issues they face with the product and provide timely security and bug fixes. You will also be responsible managing careers of the team members ensure adherence to software development process and partnering with product to ideate and deliver exceptional product features. You will play the role of both technical architect who designs solutions and code while handling people manager responsibilities as well.

Your role and responsibilities:
Drive the team to establish comprehensive development plans and deliver innovative solutions to problems/challenges that meet desired outcomes and keep integrity to our client commitments.
Ensure end to end development activities are properly sized planned and tracked to meet delivery expectations.
Provide management oversight to a number of activities running in parallel address issues/concerns with speed and enable course corrective actions.
Manage team to maintain product and process quality performance and respond quickly to product or quality of service issues.
Act as Product Owner for Scrum teams where necessary.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Graduate or post-graduate in Computer Science or related Engineering field.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in C/C++ development in Linux environment with system programming background (Concurrency IPC Memory Management etc.) and knowledge of Java programming language.
• Proven experience in designing and developing APIs using SOAP and REST.
• Experience working with Relational databases like DB2 Oracle MSSQL etc. and SQL
• Working knowledge of messaging systems like IBM MQ Active MQ and datastores like Redis.
• Knowledge of data representation serialization exchange translation and modelling languages like XML XML Schema XSLT and JSON
• Knowledge of one or more scripting languages like PowerShell Perl Python etc. is a must.
• Experience in developing and implementing test automation frameworks and strategies.
• Experience in using build deployment and development tools like Git Make Ant Maven Jenkins etc. and good knowledge of DevOps CI/CD and Agile development practices.
• Experience with project management planning tracking stakeholder management conflict resolution and prioritization.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong knowledge of data structures algorithms enterprise systems and system architectures.
• Knowledge of Cloud native microservices and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes OpenShift and Docker is a plus.
• Experience in architecting deploying and managing applications in cloud or hybrid infrastructures will be an advantage.
