The Opportunity:

We are searching for a motivated and driven person who wants to build a Developer career with an innovative, fast-growing startup. Our team is here to make a big impact in the market, and we’re looking for team members to help achieve our goals by building an amazing financial product. The Back-End Developer is a key member of the Engineering team. This role is a prime creator of Kinly’s back-end financial product infrastructure

You Will:

• Review the requirements and identify concerns prior to writing code.
• Provide estimates and design spec feedback.
• Writes clear, concise, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate early and often
• Develop solutions that encompass front-end, application layer, and back-end databases.
• Collaborate with other developers.
• Strong communication skills, both veto enhance the user experience.
• Work closely with Product Managers to understand use cases and user needs.
• Develop responsive products which render seamlessly across multiple devices.
• Produce technical design documentation.

You have:

• 3-5 years of prior development experience
• Strong knowledge of data structures and system design.
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Recent OOP language experience, ability to walk through 1-2 complex projects that you’ve built.
  • Node w/Typescript, java, .Net, Golang
• An understanding of microservice based architecture and build stateless code
• Experience building solutions on cloud-based hosting platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
• Created reliable and performant code.
• Experience working in an agile development environment (Agile, Scrum, or Kanban preferred).
• Drive to be proactive and self-motivated
• Collaboration as your first priority
• Startup experience (preferred).

Bonus:

• Prior Fintech experience.
• Prior DevOps experience.
