Your Role and Responsibilities
ISV SaaS CoE mission is to prepare ISVs in their journey to adapt IBM Cloud & SaaS and help them establishing the security standards/Compliance maturity required to do business with consuming financial services institutions/Banks on IBM Cloud. We are working with most of the key ISVs in the financial services domain and focused on growing an ecosystem of ISVs validated on IBM FS Cloud Framework and Architecture. This also helps in reducing bank’s ISV application compliance and onboarding cycle to < ~6 months from over ~24 months as of now. ISV SaaS CoE team consists of Cloud Architects Security Architects and the ISV on-boarding platform and automation development team.
ISV SaaS CoE team provide guidance and assets to accelerate ISV FS Cloud onboarding journey in a shared trusted model. Assist ISVs in deploying and testing ISV Applications on IBM Cloud confining to IBM FS Cloud Architecture. Assist ISVs through the end-to-end controls assessment process against the IBM Cloud Framework for Financial Services and help them achieve IBM FS Cloud Validated status.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Work as an Engineering Professional on design development and support of the System Cloud Management and Software as a service (SaaS)
• Design and develop Backend for server and virtualisation area for management solution in Agile environment.
• Define and implement high performance software by leveraging a strong understanding of underlying system design
• Be a contributor in developing an environment of continuous improvement across product lines and development groups
• Interact with the test team to define test plans and test data; identify reproduce and defects; fix and verify defects.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 7-14 years of experience in software product development domain.
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle for the product
• Strong Programming skills in the following:
  • Code Engine
  • CI/CD Pipelines Toolchains
  • DBaaS MongoDB Python
  • Node.js Github Kubernetes
  • Linux agile development etc
  • Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Strong debug and problem determination skills
• Working knowledge in Servers domain
• Proven analytical skills decision-making ability
• Ability to work in a team under schedule pressure and maintain deadlines
• Proven communication and presentation skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience on tools like Jenkins Git/Github Gerrit or other equivalent tools.
