Job Overview:

We seek an experienced Backend Engineer for our data team to help design, build, and maintain our backend infrastructure. This role involves developing scalable, high-performance services and integrating with various external APIs. You'll work closely with our team to ensure the system is reliable, efficient, and easy to maintain.

Responsibilities:

• Design & Develop: Build and maintain backend services, focusing on API integration and web scraping, scalability, and performance.
• Data Processing: Ensure data integrity and manage data flows within the system.
• Orchestration: Implement and manage workflows, including handling retries, rate limiting, and error recovery.
• Storage & Caching: Develop solutions for data storage and caching to optimize performance.
• Monitoring & Recovery: Implement monitoring, logging, and recovery mechanisms to ensure system reliability.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of backend development experience.
• B.Sc in Computer Science/ Software engineering or equivalent filed
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with API integration, asynchronous programming, and cloud platforms
  (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on performance and scalability.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Prefect, Airflow).
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
