What you’ll do as a Backend Development Lead:

We are seeking an experienced Development Lead to join our dynamic team, responsible for managing the systems and applications that deliver critical services in our trading environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++ and Python, a solid understanding of trading and options, and a proven ability to set priorities and devise high-quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend applications and services that support our trading operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and develop technical solutions that enhance trading performance.
• Utilize C++ and Python for software development, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Set priorities for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effective resource allocation.
• Identify and address technical challenges and bottlenecks, driving continuous improvement and optimization of systems.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies, incorporating best practices into development processes.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure high code quality and adherence to standards.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding of project goals and timelines.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in C++ and Python.
• Proven track record of leading technical teams and designing high-quality software solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
