Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer with experience in Backend development and exposure to Blockchain technology. This role is purely an IC role focused on design, development, test and deployment of product development tasks while collaborating with other Backend & Fullstack Engineers. You will work closely with engineering teams, project managers, designers, and engineering leadership to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Development and Maintenance: Lead the development and maintenance of backend services using Node.js (pref Nest.js), TypeScript, and JavaScript. This includes writing clean, efficient, and scalable code.

API Design and Management: Design and manage RESTful APIs (or utilize RPCs) and integrate third-party APIs (or RPCs) to support business processes and data exchange. 

Database Management: Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL), including design, development, and optimization, ensuring data integrity and security.

Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Implement unit and integration tests to maintain high-quality code.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the systems developed and ensure it's kept up to date.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1 Year of experience working as a Software Engineer.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar.

Experience with Typescript / Javascript for back end REST APIs (RPCs), and used frameworks like Express or NestJS, NoSQL and SQL databases.

Web3: Prior interest in blockchain technology, bonus if know Solidity/Layer0.
