What we’re looking for:

Wonders is growing fast. We’re adding rapidly to our product portfolio. In our next phase of growth we are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Engineering team to help build reliable performant and well-integrated systems and products for our customers.

What you’ll accomplish:

• You will be working in a fast-paced high-growth startup environment where you will always be learning

• You’ll spearhead the development of high-quality products from the ground-up with high velocity.

• You’ll have a huge impact and work on large scope spanning multiple products

• You’ll be an owner write a lot of code and iterate very quickly

• You will partner with Product Managers and other stakeholders to advance the product vision iterate on customer feedback and drive the expansion of Wonders into new opportunities

About you:

• You have 3+ years relevant experience building large-scale applications or similar experience

• You currently have or are in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience

• You are a self-starter and thrive in an environment where you have technical freedom

• You are excited about the opportunity to work up and down the stack and learn Rust

• You are passionate about solving customer’s problems and building something from the ground-up

• You prefer an environment with limited meetings processes planning politics and formal reviews

Bonus points:

• You have experience in a consumer driven industry with a passion for the customer.

• You have a roll up your sleeves mentality with current or prior experience working in a fast paced collaborative highly ambiguous environment frequently wearing more than one hat.

• You are passionate about restaurants

The base salary range for this role is $180000- $250000 + equity.
