Who we're looking for

Remedy is looking for a talented individual who possesses infinite curiosity. You'll work alongside our product managers and partners to create awesome products. What you will do

• Implement, design, and drive new features delivery end-to-end through implementation, launch, and continuous iteration
• Document development processes, standards, and best practices
• Write and maintain a full unit test suite
• Ensure the technical feasibility and stability of solutions in accordance with architectural standards
• Help manage deployments and setup CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate in an agile environment to understand business requirements and translate those needs to actionable development code using best practices
• Engage with business stakeholders to define application requirements, ensuring solutions meet business needs
• Write performant, scalable and testable code with the help of modern tools
• Participate in code reviews that uphold the principle of clean code and architecture
• Participate in active engineering design sessions with evidence and experience-based contributions
• Balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results

What should my qualifications be?

• 6+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of developing complex, high-quality software systems delivered to customers
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English at a minimum C1 level
• Expert-level knowledge of Ruby on Rails framework
• Strong background in developing cloud-based solutions, with a focus on security
• Comfort operating in a sometimes ambiguous, fast-changing environment with rapid iteration cycles
• Demonstrated experience managing project timelines and feature requests in a realistic manner
• Experience with Fintech solutions or STRIPE
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Ability to document and articulate software solutions and strategies effectively




Tech Expertise

• Primary programming languages: Ruby on Rails
• Proficiency in API development and optimization with Ruby on Rails
• Understanding of AWS services including Lambdas, EC2, S3 among others
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline configuration and management using tools like CircleCI or GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, preferably using Terraform
• Database design and management skills with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or AWS RDS.
• Strong expertise in RSpec for behavior-driven development and Capybara for integration testing to ensure high-quality code
• Proficient in background job processing utilizing Redis for efficient management of asynchronous tasks




Desired (but not required) - Candidates with following additional skills will be viewed very favorably:

• Python - Is at least open to learning
• Javascript - React, Vue or Node
