Backend Software Engineer (m/f/d)

We are launching a new Infrastructure-as-Code Cloud Asset Management Platform built on top of our popular open-source tool Terramate. Terramate Cloud will enable teams to manage and observe all their cloud assets, automatically import and codify non-IaC managed assets, and detect and resolve drifts to prevent service failures.

We are hiring remote Backend Engineers as individual contributors to develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve Terramate Cloud. You should have professional experience in building high-quality software on scale. CS degree and experience in Infrastructure as Code are a plus.

Work is remote, and we work exclusively with senior engineers in small, lean, and self-organized teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• Software development experience with Typescript, Go or Rust and relevant test frameworks.

• Hands-on experience writing software in professional environments.

• Passion for clear, clean, well-factored code.

• Hands-on experience with microservices, container and cloud-native application development.

• Remote work within time zones UTC-2 to UTC+4. (Berlin time +/- 3 hours).

• Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve Terramate Cloud.

• Contribute to architecture decisions and perform code reviews for your peers.

• Comfort in working in short, agile, iterative development cycles and a strong desire to work in a fast-moving startup environment.
