Backend Software Engineer - Senior

You will be involved in all stages of the lifecycle and serve as a member of our software and cloud team responsible for designing and developing a variety of different types of solutions across multiple projects. These solutions will get your hands on RESTful & gRPC based web APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines. As a valued contributor to our team, your responsibilities will include (1) collaborative brainstorming and problem-solving to define requirements, objectives, and potential solutions; (2) develop and test solutions from inception to deployment in the intelligence and defense communities; and (3), testing and maturing of your solutions with new ideas and customer feedback as part of an agile team.

Backend Software Engineer - Senior Position Requirements:

• Eligibility to apply for and hold a US security clearance (selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements at the time of employment)
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field along with 7+ years of relevant work experience OR MS degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Team player with excellent communication skills

Backend Software Engineer - Senior Preferences:

• Experience designing, developing, and documenting web API's (e.g. Python, Golang, C++, Swagger)
• Experience with web application frameworks (e.g. Django, Laravel, Spring, NodeJS, DRF)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g. gitlab runners, Jenkins pipelines)
• Experience setting up cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure)
• Experience with Kubernetes based workflows (e.g. Argo Workflows)
