What will you do?

Hibob is a vibrant, dynamic, happy place to work. A start-up with an amazing culture, and bright and resourceful people in London, Amsterdam, New York, Sydney, and Tel Aviv. We’re growing fast and looking for a seasoned Tech Lead to join our Payroll Hub group.

As a Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical direction, mentoring team members, and driving innovation.

The ideal Tech Lead should be a strategic thinker, a technical expert, a culture-builder, and a catalyst for innovation. The emphasis is on balancing technical execution with strategic vision, fostering a culture of excellence, and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong backend background.
• 3+ years of experience as a Tech Lead, preferably in dynamic, fast-paced companies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• People-person with strong leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and agile environment
• Excellent knowledge of software design and scalable web architecture.
• Experience developing SaaS products hosted in a cloud platform like AWS or equivalent.
• Independent, resourceful, and proactive team player with a desire to impact our team, our product, and our customers.
• Excellent communication skills in both Hebrew and English

The following are a big plus

• Experience developing payments or other FinTech products
• Experience with Kotlin / Scala / Java
• Experience with micro-service ecosystems.
• Experience with event driven architecture
• A track record of successful project delivery
• Experience mentoring and developing software engineers
