Summary/objective
Responsible for the research and adjudication of public records in accordance with law and reporting policies. This position requires excellent internal and external communication skills, focus and attention to detail to facilitate the processing of screening orders to produce accurate and timely results.

Production
- Adjudicate assigned background checks components by using and analyzing information derived from various electronic public access systems, internal and external proprietary databases, government managed databases and other investigative tools that are approved by the executive management.
- Verify identity match of all records returned by the sources: Confirm that the record relates to the person subject to the background check.
- Examine the type of records returned by the sources: Confirm that the record in question is the type of record that DISAreports.
- Confirm that no applicable federal or state law prohibits reporting the information.
- Establish efficient and balanced workflows that maximize efficiency and produce high levels of service quality and meet production goals.
- Maintain metrics; 250 Components Adjudicated per day; maintain 99.8% accuracy rate.
- Must be 100% proficient in the following areas:
- Databases
- Federal Level Searches
- County Criminal (all states)
- National Criminal Database
- Sex Offender Searches
- Responsible for securing confidential company and consumer data within workstations, networks, data, and work areas in accordance with company issued Confidentiality and Security Standards.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year of work experience in background investigations (or comparable field).
- Obtain FCRA certification within one (1) year, required.

Work environment
Work from home, remote. Employee required to maintain own high-speed internet connection.
Physical demands and Equipment Use
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Frequently communicate via telephone, email, messaging.
- Walking occasionally.
