Banking Customer Service Representative

JOB Title: Banking Customer Service Representative Location: Dallas, TX 75201 Position Summary: The Banking Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing excellent customer service by assisting bank customers with their financial needs, answering inquiries, processing transactions, and resolving account-related issues. The CSR acts as the primary point of contact between the bank and its customers, ensuring a positive banking experience. Key Responsibilities: • Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner. • Handle routine banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments accurately and efficiently. • Open, close, and maintain customer accounts, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. • Respond to customer inquiries about account balances, products, services, and policies. • Identify and resolve customer issues or escalate complex concerns to appropriate departments. • Promote and cross-sell bank products and services based on customer needs. • Verify customer identity and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. • Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions. • Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. • Assist with balancing cash drawers and daily reconciliation. • Participate in ongoing training to stay informed of product updates and regulatory changes. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. • Previous customer service experience, preferably in banking or financial services. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. • Ability to handle cash and maintain accuracy in transactions. • Basic knowledge of banking products, services, and compliance requirements. • Proficiency with banking software and Microsoft Office. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
