Banking Modernization Architect

Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect you directly help clients transform their business  and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms.  You are a technical leader serving as a liaison among business partners technical resources and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities

o Senior IT Architect (+10y) with experience in banking
o He/She will be part of the Global Banking & FM CoE reporting to the team CTO
o Main activities
§ support the CoE and Local teams on opportunities generation and development providing deep technical and architectural experience in the banking industry. He/She will be part of the opportunity team and will be able to lead the solutioning and effort and staffing estimations.
§ be involved on delivery leading technical teams (CoE and/or local) using the CB&P (Core Banking & Payments) assets and generating new IP
§ contribute to the CB&P assets generation
§ collaborate with other Business Units and the ecosystem to incorporate capabilities inti the CB&P offerings
§ be an active member of the CoE Architecture team
§ Willing to work at the international level (it is a must)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

o Banking Industry: imperatives trends problems solutions. On at least one (at least 2 preferred) business areas like Retail Corporate Wealth Payments etc (+10y)
o Enterprise Architecture. TOGAF preferred (+10y)
o He/She had broad experience designing banking systems
o Baking industry frameworks (BIAN)
o Analysis and design methods and techniques: OO DDD

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Team leading. Experience on leading technical teams both in business development and delivery projects (hands on experience on design development)
o Technologies: expertise on distributed systems and cloud technologies.
§ Virtualization Containers K8s
§ Microservices design with Springboot Quarkus or Node.js
§ System management and observability
§ Java (required at least at design level). Other programing languages and frameworks like Python or Javascript is a plus
§ Cobol MF is a plus
o Languages: English fluent (will be the daily team/customer language)
o Soft skills
§ Communication (oral and written) and negotiation
§ CXO relationship level
§ Team builder and leader
§ Autonomous problem solver
§ Able to work on complex organizational environments
