About team Banking Operations

This role is part of our Payment Service Operations function, embedded in Trustly's wider Operations unit, which spans over a hundred employees across Europe. The team is responsible for ensuring seamless payment processing while optimising cash management and reconciliation, all with a relentless focus on customer experience and operational efficiency.

About the role

As a Banking Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that payments are processed efficiently, accurately, and with the customer journey at heart. You will be responsible for managing core operational functions such as reconciliation, cash management, and payment routing, while driving continuous improvement in processes. We are seeking an individual with operational experience and analytical skills, who can leverage data to drive informed decision-making and optimise operations.

What you'll do

  • Ensure efficient cash flow management to support payouts, refunds, and merchant settlements
  • Monitor and optimise payment routing for deposits and withdrawals, collaborating with both internal teams and external partners
  • Perform reconciliation processes to guarantee transaction accuracy and completeness, contributing to month-end and year-end closings
  • Analyse liquidity needs and manage corporate cash to ensure reliable product performance and secure client fund management
  • Continuously improve operational processes, with a focus on scalability and customer satisfaction
