Banking Operations Trainer

Summary:

The successful candidate is responsible for cross-functional instructional, design, planning and implementation for our training program. The target audience is for our investment clients and overall education program. This individual carries out departmental education program which is primarily used to onboard new team members but also provides ongoing training to current team members.

Major Duties:

• Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact.
• Able to facilitate discussions, plan meetings and reach decisions.
• Delivers a work product that requires less revision.
• Responsible for end-to-end call monitoring and instruction design.
• Become subject matter expert with an understanding of technical and operating processes/challenges.
• Provide solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.
• Create process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes.
• Directly interact with partners, committees and/or Senior Management.
• Manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of entry level employees (not a formal management role).

Knowledge/Skills:

• A College or University degree and/or at least 5 years of relevant proven work experience is preferred.
• Technically sound in areas of education and training with broader knowledge of financial services.
• In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is preferred.
• Typically would have some type of certification such as six sigma or an education background.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change required.
• Able train individuals at their own speed.
