Banking Solution Architect

Introduction
a Banking Solution Architect you will work closely with a Global System Integrators (GSI) to accelerate IBM Power System’s adoption within GSIs through Infrastructure transformation Application Modernization and Digital Transformation Initiatives in Banking domain.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Work with GSI teams to architect Banking focused solutions with IBM Power Systems.
• Engage with GSI teams to design and architect modern banking solutions on Red Hat Open source software and IBM AI Stack
• Employees in this role need to recommend the IT landscape for a Banking client by describing how elements of the technologies interoperate in the Infra solution/product architecture leveraging IBM Power (Eg AI for Banking Banking Workloads leveraging Infra Capabilities etc)
• They are responsible for suggesting how IBM Infrastructure Product Capabilities/features can be leveraged for running Solutions in line Banking Industry trends.
• Bring in-depth knowledge in Banking industry domain to be coupled with leading-edge IBM Infrastructure products and technology for building innovative solutions for end clients to gain market share/potential.
• Own the infra solution architecture plan while being a “hands-on” builder in a GSI (or customer) engagement.
• Evaluate the GSIs banking solutions/frameworks/applications and explore integration of IBM Infrastructure Solutions.
• Work with GSIs to build technical POCs/POTs build joint technical solutions create joint collaterals/assets with IBM Power Systems
• Employees in this role use IBM Systems product expertise & Banking domain knowledge to deliver technical support to GSI Partners by

• Providing in depth technical assessment education and guidance to GSI Partners who are porting or testing applications with IBM
• Provide assistance to GSI Partners during capacity and performance test activities.
• Creating customized PoC environments
• Delivering detailed development level education and awareness activities on new IBM products and technologies focused on Banking Industry
• Participate in technical awareness activities such as demonstrations presentations and hands on labs.
• Develop technical collateral such as white papers tutorials sample code Redbooks and FAQs with focus on banking Industry for use by GSI Partners.

• Responsible for influencing the Partner’s technical strategy toward IBM’s Power System Technology.
• Using your technical solution knowledge and expertise on IBM Power you’ll identify and engage decision-makers and influencers qualify business opportunities and respond to clients’ needs to create strategic long-term technical engagements and partnerships

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum of 10 plus years’ experience in Infrastructure Technical Engagements (preferably IBM Power) along with Knowledge and expertise in banking domain.
• Technical and Professional Expertise with knowledge regarding IBM Power Hybrid Cloud and other IT Infrastructure experience to consult advise and quickly grow your reputation as your partner’s credible trusted advisor.
• Work with GSIs to define and execute proof of concepts to integrate IBM Power Systems into their own (or 3rd party) solutions .
• Ability to engage in face-to-face partner engagements for recommendations on Infra solutions technical engagements enablement and training.
