Bar Association Manager
Job Description

We are seeking a Bar Association Manager to join our highly motivated, high velocity, and highly creative marketing team in CA & FL. This Bar Association Manager will report to the Director of Bar Associations. The role will be a local to the area they will be covering so they can attend events and develop relationships with Bar Leadership and also support the Sales teams at Bar events. The ideal candidate will be located in California or Florida full time.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sponsorship strategy for your territory.
- Identify potential sponsorship opportunities with Bar Associations/Legal organizations within a territory.
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements/contacts.
- Ensure that sponsorship contact obligations are fulfilled.
- Manage Bar Association relationships, including regular communication with Bar Leadership and staff.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute sponsorship activation plans that maximize the visibility and success of sponsorship.
- Collaborate with event organizers, program managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that sponsorship opportunities are fulfilled.
- Maintain accurate records of sponsor interactions, agreements, and deliverables.
- Evaluate and report on the success of sponsorship activities and make recommendations for future improvements.
- Create KPIs, measure success and report on results for each event.
- Attend/work events that will be held during the day, nights, and weekends.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in sponsorship or partnership management, preferably in the Legal industry
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to develop and close sponsorships that align with LEAP's goals and objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
- Outstanding project management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of sponsorship and partnership best practices, including sponsorship trends and emerging opportunities
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate sponsorship performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial management, and reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Public speaking experience
- Knowledge of the legal profession and the issues facing legal professionals today
- Must be flexible with work hours.
- Must be able to travel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Trello (or other project management softwares)
