The Bariatric Program Coordinator position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Job Duties
  • The Bariatric Program Coordinator provides professional leadership in working with Bariatric Practice staff, facility, referring physicians, and patient.
  • Provides specialized care to the Bariatric patient population by effectively coordinating patient activities.
  • The goal is to optimize patient outcomes and improve the quality of life of the morbidly obese through efficient program management with clinical and education expertise.
  • Management of staff and coordination of team members.
  • The Coordinator will assess, plan, and implement modalities, which can be used to achieve the desired goals of the practice.
Experience
  • Two years of medical practice experience required, preferably within a bariatric surgery practice.
  • Clinical background required, i.e., Registered Nurse, Dietitian, or Social Work.
  • Demonstrable experience in program development and expansion and experience working in hospital or ambulatory surgery centers preferred.
  • General management experience to direct activities of the department.
Education

Bachelor's Degree in health related field - Registered Nurse, Dietitian, Social Work.

License

Current and valid Indiana Registered Nurse, Dietitian, or Social Work license.
