Summary
This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York. FMWR includes Child and Youth Services, Business Recreation, and Support Services, which enable Soldier readiness, support the resiliency and well-being of Soldiers and Families.

- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with Army Regulation 215-3.
- This position requires a favorably adjudicated T1/NACI background investigation.
- An employer referred pre-employment physical examination is required.
- Management reserves the right to reassign employees to other facilities.
- Work schedule may be irregular. The incumbent may be required to work, nights, weekends, holidays and/or special events.
- Must be physically able to stand for prolong periods of time.
Qualifications
- ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds, AND
- possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory, AND
- possess skills in mixing and serving the full range of coffee beverages and other specialty non-alcoholic drinks, AND
- work experience utilizing a commercial espresso machine, AND
- ability to cross train and monitor the work of other staff.

This position is located at The Peak but may also fill other Barista vacancies within Business Recreation Division.
