Position OverviewBarton Operator performs sampling and testing of all process material from reactors, distribute, load lead and move pallets. Barton Operator ensures correct labeling, handling and transportation and tracking of hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste. The Barton Operator will be committed to performing the role safely and wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), including a respirator. Areas of FocusBarton Operator collects & inputs data for reports, attribute reports, charts & graphs. Responsibilities Level I• Work in extreme temperatures and heavy environment is a plus• Ability to use hand tools and learn specific machine controls, gauges, etc• Ability to solve problems and recommend solutions• Must be clean shaven for PPE purposes• All employees must follow strict hygiene rules including mandatory showering and lunch periods on site• Lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time Basic Qualifications• High School Diploma or GED• 2-3 years’ manufacturing/plant experience with a strong and consistent work history• Basic English proficiency to interpret work and apply safety instructions• Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
