Core One is seeking a Battle Staff Modeling and Simulations Specialist to support the program. This position requires an active Secret clearance verifiable in DISS. This position is contingent upon contract award. 

Responsibilities:  

• Identify courses of action for simulations integration into the BST component exercise program.
• Conduct detailed planning and coordination with higher and adjacent elements, along with integration with BST component exercise program operations and intelligence scripters.
• Build realistic models reflective of theater strategic and operational environments that support training to enable live, virtual, and synthetic environments.
• Build simulations conducive to desired training scenarios and vignettes.
• Coordinate with scenario development personnel to ensure continuity between M&S generated products and the MARSOC BST and other scenarios.
• Develop operational and tactical training environments, vignettes, battle rhythms, and scenarios that support integration of SOF and conventional advanced technologies testing, demonstration, and tactics, techniques, and procedure development.
• Develop an after-action review covering the utility and employment of M&S capabilities and publish results within 30 days after an exercise.
• Must provide the BST G7 Exercise Director and staff an in-progress review briefing to confirm final exercise plan for commander approval for execution.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ validated work experience in planning, development and execution of DVTE or M&S based military training within a Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) accredited or service-level exercise program.
• 1-year prior military service as a M&S Officer or Specialist (E-7 to E-9 or O-3 to O-6).
• Accredited formal education, certificate, Bachelor’s in modeling and simulation (M&S) or Digital Virtual Training Environment (DVTE) systems, theory and application desired.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Possess a thorough understanding of SOF capabilities, support, and operations.
• SECRET clearance verified in DISS.
• Possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license
