Responsibilities
The Information Management Specialist, as part of BCT’s customer support team, provides ongoing data management and administrative support to the Head Start Regional Office in Chicago, IL. This includes information systems support, program and performance analysis, systems integration and improvement, enrollment tracking and analysis, program modification requests, and administrative office functions. The Information Management Specialist will collect, aggregate, enter and update data maintained in various databases, spreadsheets, and internet-based applications and will conduct both basic and complex data analysis to produce management information reports, written analytical reports and documents based on data analysis.
This is a Hybrid position, located in Chicago, Illinois. 
Skills / Who You Are
You will provide accurate and ongoing administrative and data collection and management support. This includes but is not limited to administrative office functions, information and records management as well as data entry, collection and analysis, technical writing support, data tracking, and assessing processes and systems for improvement. The Information Management Specialist will also develop plans and reports, produce standardized document templates, mail merge files and other correspondence, prepare and disseminate both individual and mass correspondence for distribution to recipients and will maintain official records and make recommendations to improve the regions overall effectiveness and efficiency including quality assurance processes and modifications to improve the effectiveness of internal work processes.
You bring to the table:

• Minimum 3 years of post-baccalaureate professional experience directly related to the task activities.
• High level of demonstrated proficiency in utilizing a variety of web-based and commercial off-the-shelf data management software packages such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SmartSheets, Tableau, etc.
• High level of demonstrated proficiency in aggregating, analyzing and presenting data gathered from multiple sources.
• Demonstrated experience coaching and training staff and implementing effective quality assurance systems in activities directly related to the task.
• Strong organizational, administrative and process coordination skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

BCT offers a competitive total compensation package that, for this position includes base pay with an annual salary range between $67,000 and $70,000 (based on qualifications), along with a generous benefits package.
