Job Description
We are looking for an BDR Manager to lead our growing Sales and Business Development Representative team in the United States. This team is on the frontline of our success as LeanIX works to expand its footprint in the U.S. Reporting to our Global Director of Sales development, this position will be responsible for managing approximately 8-10 full-time team members and train, coach, and develop them to engage prospects, understand their pains, position our solutions based on business value, and create commitment to a sales engagement with LeanIX.

WHAT IS WAITING FOR YOU?
- Drive team success through a combination of inbound and outbound prospecting efforts, developing talent to maximize their potential and creating career pathways to become our future high-performance account executives
- Ensure quality of sales opportunities as you contribute to a forecasted pipeline and number of business engagements for our account executives
- Play an active role in the recruitment, hiring, and training process for all future team members
- Ensure that the Sales & Business Development team is following the prospecting process applying the methodology, using tools like Salesloft and Salesforce, with a high level of activity and the right messaging
- Explore new hypothesis for business development (different target markets, buyer personas, channels, messaging, team dynamics), test them empirically with the team and make data-driven decisions
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- 2-3 years of experience managing an S/BDR team, preferably at a SaaS company, and a mastery of sales/business development processes and best practices
- Deep understanding of business dynamics and how to map regional sales strategy and business development requirements to an S/BDR team
- Natural leadership skills with the ability to both coach and manage as well as experience managing teams with sales management and lead generation software tools (Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom, etc.)
- Communicator who understands customer pain points and delivers business value, understanding of and experience in SaaS/Cloud business essential
- The ability to harness your intellectual agility and an entrepreneurial mindset to demonstrate drive, show initiative, and create the sense of urgency in acquiring and serving customers
