In this important role, you will manage a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs). You will help to hire, train, coach, and develop BDRs with the goal of promoting them into successful sales reps within six to eight months. You will work closely with sales managers, sales operations, and sales reps to optimize BDR trainings in Bonterra sales methodology with the ability to deliver quality opportunities and sales. The goal is to put Bonterra products in the hands of as many social good organizations as possible, helping them raise money online!
What You Will Do:
- Manage hiring, onboarding and certification of BDRs as a development tool to create high impact full sale cycle reps
- Manage and coach BDRs, providing regular feedback and creating a dynamic learning environment that thrives on high achievement
- Run a small number of demonstrations with ramping BDRs to provide valuable feedback
- Work with Manager Strategy and Enablement to improve and update Bonterra Sales Playbook as encapsulating Bonterra sales strategy (with support)
- Support sales management in creating ongoing trainings and certification programs for all sales positions
- Support manager Strategy and Enablement in developing and maintaining a library of sales enablement tools via call libraries, templates, etc.(with support)
- Ensure compliance with processes, including maintaining service level agreements with corresponding departments (marketing, customer success, etc.)
Who You Are:
- You are experienced! You have 3+ years of inside sales experience
- 2-3 years of direct management/supervisory experience of a sales or business development team
- Experience managing large projects and initiatives
- You have a strong knowledge of sales processes.
- You have a strong interest in developing as a mentor/coach/manager.
- You have excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and strong presentation skills.
- You have an interest in sales training and sales operations.
- You are a strategic thinker with an analytical mind and superior problem-solving skills.
- You are organized and have excellent time management skills.
- You want to DO GOOD! You are ready to work for a company who is looking to ramp up efficiency through social good technology!
Compensation
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.
US base salary range: $120,000 - $136,000
Please note that the compensation range specified in this job posting is applicable to candidates based in the United States. For international applicants, actual salary offers may vary based on the local market compensation standards and will be determined in accordance with regional considerations, including but not limited to applicable laws, cost of living, and industry norms.
