Responsibilities:

• Oversee the curation of daily beauty news and features on the beauty vertical of Hypebae, alongside creating social-first content for Hypebae's social media platforms
• Source, write, edit and publish all necessary beauty content, ensuring it meets our editorial standards, mission and vision
• Ensure that beauty content represents the brand correctly and with integrity
• Brainstorm, plan and execute new beauty series, social formats and original content that will engage both existing and new readers 
• Oversee and curate the annual Beauty Awards

Qualifications:

• Have a strong knowledge of beauty, skincare, haircare and be clued up on all things new and emerging in the beauty space 
• Have at least 4 years of experience creating editorial beauty content
• Have vlogging and/or social media experience (and the ability to shoot and edit vlog-style social content)
• Knowledge of HYPEBAE content on a local and international level
• Understand that beauty is more than lotions and potions: it is about identity. And that great beauty content is about having original and engaging ways to celebrate that in ways that allow our readers to feel seen and represented
