The Bell Desk team at Excalibur is seeking a dedicated Bell Person to join our dynamic team. Ideally, candidates will have prior customer service experience and possess a positive attitude that aligns with MGM's high standards of guest service. THE JOB:
As a Bell Person, you will warmly greet and assist guests and hotel staff, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. You will be responsible for handling luggage, group deliveries, and guest orientations, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Your role is to deliver exceptional guest service, aligning with our core standards and brand attributes, to create memorable experiences at every opportunity. Additionally, you will manage phone calls and complete necessary documentation, ensuring seamless service delivery.
THE STARTING RATE: $14.7074/hr Plus Tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Warmly greet, interact with, and assist guests and hotel staff in a professional manner.

Maintain a positive attitude, outgoing personality, and professional appearance.

Deliver exceptional guest service to all guests and co-workers, aligning with the Company's and Property's core service standards and brand attributes to create defining moments at every opportunity.

Collect, transport, deliver, and store luggage and guest items.

Assist with group deliveries, group baggage, and various amenities.
-
Orient guests to their rooms and the property.
-
Complete relevant documentation, tickets, and other bell-related forms.

Handle phone calls requesting information, services, and deliveries.

Perform other job-related duties as requested.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
-
Prior bell desk experience preferred, but not required.
-
Prior customer service experience in hospitality or a related field.
-
Positive attitude, outgoing personality, and professional demeanor.
-
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Comfortable with heavy lifting up to 100 pounds as needed.

Flexibility to work various hours/shifts as needed per on call requirements.
