Job Description

Melio is looking for a self-motivated Benefits Admin & People Ops to join a collaborative and dynamic global People team. The Benefits Admin & People Ops will work closely with our US teams, people partners, HRIS, and Total Rewards. The position involves executing the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs to maintain the excellence of benefits service delivery and responsibility for US people operations. We are looking for a team member who loves brainstorming and enjoys working both independently and in collaboration with others. If you are solution-oriented, passionate about data and working cross-functionally this role is for you!

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Be the first point of contact for US employees and managers on any HR administration related queries in an efficient, effective, consistent, and customer-focus.
  • Investigating new benefits programs and negotiation with vendors, improving existing programs, and implementing benefits administration. 
  • Ensures that benefits programs address the needs of the employees, comply with legal requirements, and are cost effective.
  • Provides support to employees on benefits-related queries and gives guidance in terms of how employees can optimize the benefits received from the company.
  • Helps maintain and improve employee engagement and satisfaction with well-crafted benefits programs.
  • Create and implement HR operations procedures and policies, provide data analysis and reporting for business . 

What we’d love to see: 

  • 3-5 years of experience in similar position
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills are a must, particular emphasis on Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Excellent team working skills, and cross-functional management
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, diligent and meticulous
  • Perform well under pressure, with outstanding organization and ability to prioritize
  • Passion to impact a hyper-growth start-up environment and to lead initiatives that will shape Melio’s culture and growth.

Compensation, Benefits and Perks:

  • Base compensation range is $80,000 - $110,000
