As our Benefits Analyst supporting the team you will collaborate across our global Human Resources team and perform, valued and relied upon critical support in administering and analyzing the organization's benefit programs . This role will support design, implementation and communication of the Company's benefit programs. The role is based in Tysons Corner, VA and reports to the Senior Manager, Benefits.

As our Benefits Analyst supporting the team you will collaborate across our global Human Resources team and perform, valued and relied upon critical support in administering and analyzing the organization's benefit programs . This role will support design, implementation and communication of the Company's benefit programs. The role is based in Tysons Corner, VA and reports to the Senior Manager, Benefits.
Can you drive these processes?
- You are passionate about the goal of improving the overall well-being to the employee population and support administering Intelsat's benefits programs (e.g., medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, life insurance, disability, wellness platform and programs)
- You are diligent with reconciling benefit plans including biweekly employee changes, 401(k), billing reconciliation and international employee reimbursements
- You enjoy presenting to new employees to conduct new hire benefits orientation weekly to ensure new hires have a solid comprehension of Intelsat's stellar benefits offerings and ensure ease of set up
- With your focus on accuracy you confirm employee elections
- You enjoy assisting with writing communications pieces for benefit programs
- With a focus on well-being plan success you lead and assist with wellness programs, people, and activities to help ensure the best mental and physical health possible for our employees
- You support and lead many activities related to open enrollment and ensure plan changes are appropriately communicated. You enjoy helping answer employee questions to educate employees on type of coverages and other benefit programs
- You are a trusted partner with vendors and assist with vendor data requests
- You assist in ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
You should definitely have:
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business or related field
- College graduate with a degree in HR or Business, or a non-Business degree with 3 years' related experience in benefits
- Strong attention to data accuracy and deadlines
- A penchant for diligence and excellence in following policies and procedures
- Positive people-person with a can-do attitude who thrives in fast-paced environment
- A desire for feedback and preference towards working in teams focused on training and professional development
- Team-oriented with a desire for collaborating and providing recommendations to the team
- Impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail and diligence with follow up
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
