Benefits and People Operations Administrator

Melio is looking for a self-motivated Benefits and People Operations Administrator to join a collaborative and dynamic global People team. 

The Benefits & People Ops Admin works closely with our US employees and People Team. In this role, you'll oversee and manage all employee benefits programs, ensuring everything runs smoothly, and all employees understand their benefits options. You will also be in charge of US People Operations responsibilities by updating and maintaining our HRIS system. You'll also be expected to stay on top of changes to laws and regulations that impact benefits programs and keep our team informed.

How you'll make an impact:

• First point of contact for all HRIS, benefits, and leave of absence-related questions for US employees. Provide guidance and support to employees to help them navigate the benefits Melio offers
• Conduct employee benefits surveys to ensure the benefits offered match the needs of the employees, comply with legal requirements, and are cost-effective.
• Research new benefit programs, negotiate with vendors, and improve & implement existing programs.
• Manage all leave of absence within the company, administer COBRA & FSA, and a 401k program.
• Create, build out, implement, and maintain HR operations policies & procedures, analyze data, and prepare it for reporting to the business.

What we'd love to see: 

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar Benefits or HR Operations role
• Expert in Microsoft Office & G-Suite is a must (particular emphasis on Excel)
• Up-to-date knowledge of benefits-related laws and regulations
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Excellent team collaboration and cross-functional management skills
• Super organized, meticulous attention to detail, solutions-oriented, diligently follows through and follows up.
• Performs well under pressure and can prioritize multiple competing priorities with ease
• Passionate about impacting a hyper-growth startup environment and leading initiatives that will shape Melio's culture and growth

Compensation, Benefits, and Perks:

• The base compensation range is $80,000 - $110,000
