What you get to do:ÂReporting to the Senior Director, Total Rewards you will lead the efforts around our employer sponsored benefit programs. You will be managing the daily administration of the benefits, while also relying on your experience and knowledge of the marketplace to ensure we are offering the right benefit choices to our employees.
- Partner with our benefits broker to provide health, wellbeing, and retirement benefits to our employees
- Manage the daily administration of OppFi' benefit programs, including healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), disability, and other voluntary benefits
- Liaison with our third-party administrator and People Business Partners on employee leave administration
- Be the point person for all employee benefit questions
- Complete annual audits and compliance projects (401(k) audit, non-discrimination testing, 5500 filings, worker's comp audits, etc.)
- Maintain/oversee compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations such as HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, and ERISA
- Enhance and support annual open enrollment administration, testing, communications and reporting
- Help develop and enhance OppFi' benefits programs by conducting employee surveys, reviewing market data and actively participating in contract renewal/negotiation activities
- Manage and develop vendor relationships
- Partner with the HRIS team to conduct testing and review vendor data integrations with our HRIS system (UKG)
- 5+ years of experience with benefits program administration and design work
- Familiar with state and federal regulations including HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA and ERISA
- Proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, error reconciliation techniques)
- Expereience with Ultipro/UKG is a plus
- CEBS or CBP is a plus
Job Level: Lead
The minimum salary for this role is $80,000. The total compensation package includes eligibility for a 1-time equity grant based on level.
The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
