Job Summary
Responsible for the management of employee benefit programs and policies globally. Supports the Company’s strategic global total reward initiatives to drive employee engagement and business performance. Works cross-functionally with internal departments and acts as a subject matter expert on benefit-related matters.
Essential Duties
- Leads the implementation, administration, and enhancement of new and existing benefit programs across the company.
- Manage the planning and rollout of open enrollment including advising on recommended plan enhancements, implementation of new benefit carriers, employee communication, and data auditing for all plans outside of the US, Canada, and the UK.

- Collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure regulatory compliance with all benefits, including oversight of plan filings and annual retirement/pension audits.
- Manages communication of benefit programs to employees and managers, resulting in high adoption, participation, and engagement rates.
- Partners with Payroll and Accounting and other internal partners to ensure benefit payments, deductions, and contributions are processed timely and accurately.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with brokers, advisors, vendors, and other external partners to ensure they meet the needs of all stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the Sr. Director of Total Rewards and benefit brokers to finalize new and updated contracts, agreements, summary plan descriptions, and plan documents.
- Manages benefits-related policy creation, maintenance, enforcement, and education.
- Work with vendors and brokers globally to resolve escalated claims and customer service issues.
- Overall management and oversite of the company’s leave program with the support of a 3rd party vendor for administration
- Oversees/directs the administration of COBRA compliance.
- Manages company’s Wellness Program in collaboration with Sr. Director of Total Rewards and Culture Committee.
- Provides day-to-day guidance, leadership, and support to the Benefits Administrator and Leave of Absence Administrator roles.
- Assists in preparing and facilitating analysis and creating materials for executive leadership
- Strategically develop and deliver global benefits training and communication for candidates, current employees, and leadership.
- Leverage system and process automation to reduce manual input for benefits administration. Provide backup to the Sr. Director of Total Rewards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, in a discipline such as Human Resources, Business, or Finance
- Demonstrated working knowledge of health benefits, retirement plans, leaves of absence, and applicable laws/regulations in applicable countries
- Global Experience a must
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the respective area
- Strong technical skills and experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with UKG Pro and business intelligence report writing preferred
- Strong project management, and organization skills, the capability to exercise sound judgment and work well under pressure to effectively manage priorities and meet timelines and deliverables
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers in large group settings and 1-on-1 interactions
- Able to maintain confidential and private personnel data
Working Conditions
- Work is generally performed in a company-provided or home-based office environment with extended sitting and use of the computer and general office equipment
- Requires speaking on the telephone and in person, with occasional public speaking in large groups
- Occasional travel, both domestic and international, may be required
