The Role
Addepar is looking for a dedicated professional with a passion for crafting comprehensive benefits packages that enhance employee well-being! As the Benefits Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing, coordinating and administering our employee benefits program in North America. You will be responsible for ensuring that our employees receive competitive and attractive benefits packages, which align with our organizational goals and values.
Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.
The current range for this role is $83,000 - $130,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

What You’ll Do
- Benefits & Perks Administration: Lead all aspects of the day-to-day administration of all North American employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, voluntary benefits, and perks programs.
- Compliance: Ensure that all benefits programs follow federal and state regulations, including ACA, government filings, and COBRA management, and conduct all required audits and nondiscrimination testing.
- Vendor Management: Partner with benefits vendors, and supervise the performance of benefit providers to ensure high-quality service and cost-effectiveness.
- Communication: Develop and implement communication strategies to educate employees about their benefits, including creating informational materials, conducting benefit orientations, and addressing employee inquiries.
- Data Analysis: Analyze benefits utilization, costs, and trends to make data-driven decisions that optimize benefit offerings and control expenses.
- Open Enrollment: Lead the annual US benefits open enrollment process, including plan design changes, communication, and system updates.
- Employee Support: Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefit-related questions and problem-solving.
- Wellness Initiatives: Collaborate with HR and Wellness teams to implement wellness programs that support employee health and well-being.
- Leave Management: Coordinate with our leave management vendor to process leave requests.
