About the Team

We are looking for a Benefits Program Manager to join our Total Rewards Team. As a member of the team, you will be an active voice and key driver in how we deliver benefit solutions to our growing global population. You will partner with key members of the People Team to help execute in the design and implementation of offerings across the organization. As an expert in the world of benefits, you will thrive delivering thoughtful program solutions, you will find energy in working alongside a fast-paced team with a growth mindset.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Program Administration, responsible for all aspects of various benefits program management including daily administration, funding, management reporting and a focus on continual improvement in the employee experience
  • You will liaise with finance and accounting to forecast annual benefits spend and track ongoing utilization
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation with respect to benefit plans including but not limited to ERISA, COBRA, and ACA
  • Provide guidance to Benefits Coordinators, HR operations team, and third-party vendors on benefits administration responsibilities (which may include employee inquiries, claims assistance, benefits eligibility, billing, COBRA, leave of absences, disability)
  • You will be a subject matter expert in US Benefits, with experience being advisor for large business verticals
  • You will monitor trends and best practices and make recommendations towards implementation
  • Identify and troubleshoot process breakdowns, build tools and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Implement recurring and ad-hoc audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Develop employee communications related to benefits programs.
Skills Needed:
  • A minimum of 10+ years of relevant work experience leading Benefit Programs, or
    Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences, or related field AND a minimum of 8 years work experience in Benefits related roles
  • Prior experience managing employee healthcare, retirement, and leave of absence benefit programs for US populations
  • Prior experience supporting a Benefits function within a high-growth organization - ability to deliver timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent Excel and Google Sheets skills
  • Self-starter with a drive to collaborate and problem solve
  • Strong communication skills, ability to simplify and clearly communicate concepts to employees
  • Strong eye for business, particularly financial and analytical skills
Location:

Remote roles in the US are available in all states EXCEPT Hawaii, Alaska, Montana, or any US Territories. 

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position in Colorado, Connecticut, Washington, and New Jersey is $128,000 - $192,500/yr, and in California and New York City is $128,000 - $192,500/yr. Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, 12 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
