[BESTAR] Logistics Manager

BESTAR LLC, the “Cutting-Edge”-Subsidiary in Atlanta of the BESTAR Steel Group, a global steel service center based in Germany. We have been supplying steel to manufacturers of saw blades and knives since 1978. Our team in Atlanta is handling our business in North, Central and South America as well as global logistics for our group and international purchasing. 

We are located in the North of Atlanta, directly at GA-400, Exit 6 (Northridge Road). We are a multilingual, highly motivated team enjoying a great working atmosphere in a professional environment.

Job Description:

• Arranging, scheduling and monitoring shipments (ocean & air) in
• cooperation with our logistics partners and freight forwarders
• Optimize freight cost and track import restrictions
• Providing documents for customs clearance
• Coordinate receipt of shipments with warehousing partners
• Administrative responsibilities and government reporting
• Closely working with our team in Germany and Hong Kong

Qualifications:

• Job experience in global logistics
• Fluent in German and English
• College degree or equivalent qualification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and well-organized
