Bevi is on a mission to disrupt the beverage supply chain and replace single-use water bottles with smart water machines. Thousands of companies use Bevi to sustainably provide their employees with pure, sparkling, and flavored water at work. As the market leader in IoT-enabled beverage machines, we’ve raised over $160M in venture capital and we’re growing year over year. In addition to maintaining hypergrowth with our current product line, Bevi is heavily investing in new product development.
We are seeking a Beverage Quality Manager to join Bevi’s flavor and quality team. This role reports to the Director of Quality Engineering, and will be responsible for measuring, improving, and maintaining the quality of Bevi’s beverage products. The Beverage Quality Manager will work closely with engineering and the beverage team to identify and prioritize targets for improvement. The ideal candidate will embrace the Bevi core values, learning new skills, working across disciplines, and driving issues to completion.
As a Beverage Quality Manager at Bevi, you will:
- Own the end to end quality of Bevi’s beverage quality from development to production
- Lead and Enhance Bevi’s Food Safety Program
- Act as a key leader in building out quality programs and best practices in the business.
- Maintain all quality documentation from suppliers (raw materials and contract manufacturers). Ensure they are in Bevi possession and are in compliance and up to date
- Maintain all Bevi created documentation for concentrates (Spec Sheets, Allergen Sheets, SDS, etc.)
- Manage and maintain Bevi’s Recall Program
- Keep up to date on any new government regulations and industry standards that relate to Bevi’s products
- Develop and maintain quality control and audits of production facilities and concentrate produced at designated frequency
- Ensure suppliers and contract manufacturers have reliable and robust systems and controls in place to maintain product safety, regulatory compliance and quality of product
- Oversee testing of new and existing products related to beverage quality and food safety
- Manage and report on ongoing quality issues including trends observed over time
- Act as the primary point of contact for FDA and other regulatory bodies
- Primary resource for identifying issues, generating and resolving CARs, and continuous improvement
- Ensure training of Bevi employees around food safety and crisis management

Requirements
We think you will bring:
- 3-5 years minimum work experience in Quality management within the food and beverage industry.
- A passion for delivering best-in-class quality to customers and stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and be able to facilitate discussion and present data to all levels of the internal and external organization.
- Strong analytical and technical skills are necessary to interpret specifications and drawings and perform problem solving and data analysis leading to improvement initiatives.
- Very strong quality improvement background, applying statistical tools, process FMEAs and root cause problem solving tools.
- Experience in using SPC tools and a deep understanding in how to apply them when measuring process reliability and repeatability in the supply chain.
- Experience leading Process Improvement Teams and managing major projects.
- NOTE: must be willing to travel up to 20%
