The Job
UNchained labs is searching for an experienced sales leader to grow our business in the US and Canada.  This person will  manage an existing commercial sales team and provide creative strategic direction to achieve growth in the North American market.Â

Description of Duties
- Lead a team of direct sales representatives selling into the life science segment in North America
- Focus the team on the critical success factors that will result in achievement of sales goals.
- Contribute to customer value messaging and sales team training.
- Provide regular sales forecasts to the management team and direct usage of the CRM
- Develop strategy to generate new sales leads and opportunities.
- Works with internal stakeholders to create understanding and a larger market potential.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Biology or Chemistry field. Advanced degrees are added credit.
- 5 years of direct sales experience in the life sciences tools industry selling instrumentation and consumables.
- 5 years of management experience leading a sales team in the North American applied and academic markets
- Demonstrated track record of sales success in exceeding annual quotas.
- Travel overnight to develop field sales organization and promote customer opportunities.
- Strong communication skills required, both written and verbal. Speaking English is required.
- Location in the Boston area or Northeast US is preferred.
Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $127,500 - $250,000. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual base salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. This role is also eligible for our annual bonus or commission program and comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs.
