BI Analyst

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our BI/Data Analytics team at TAB Bank in Ogden, UT. The role will support business units in developing and maintaining business intelligence data resources to aide in risk management and overall business decision making. The role will employ analytical models to deliver strategic solutions that provide competitive advantages by leveraging data as a key differentiator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build business intelligence reports into an organized, centralized management information portal accessible to appropriate levels of management.
• Create and maintain business intelligence reports to achieve maximum utilization for decision making at the business unit level.
• Assist Senior Business Intelligence team members in developing key performance indicators and statistical models to monitor the performance of bank loan portfolios.
• Collaborate with business units throughout the bank to meet data needs.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose detailed information into high-level reports and graphs.
• Ability to take the lead to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement and work with multiple employees on different teams to implement solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in a technical discipline.
• Proven analytical and database skills.
• Familiarity with relational databases.
• Ability to read and write SQL queries and experience with Python.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• Demonstrated ability for critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Strong time-management skills for managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent collaborator and team player. Capable of building meaningful professional relationships with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
