BI Data Analyst - The Toro Company

Work with the Toro Residential & Landscape Contractors (RLC) analytics team and business units to help develop, maintain, and enhance reporting tools (specifically in MS Power BI) and create ad hoc solutions based on direction and team input.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, maintain, enhance and document reporting solutions primarily in Microsoft Power BI and Excel.
• Build automated reports and dashboards with ability to drill down data and visualize data.
• Update and enhance current reporting solutions.
• Assist business units in testing and validating data and reporting outputs and resolve data discrepancies and/or report findings.
• Work with RLC SMEs and teams to identify potential new reporting needs.
• Act as a key driver to move reporting from a manual to automated solution.
• Utilize designated data sources and transform into information for Business Intelligence.
• Work with RLC Business Analytics team to keep projects and reporting tools within Toro's best practices/scope.
• Perform other duties or project responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required. Degree in business administration, finance, accounting, marketing, data science, computer science or related field preferred.
• 1 - 2 years' experience in Business Intelligence reporting development, using Power BI report design and DAX skills or similar software required.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Analytical mind with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Creative solution support to complex ad hoc requests.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions and provide input.
• Understand data relationships.
• Some knowledge of data modeling, SQL querying and data warehousing.

Scope:

Works as an individual contributor on work of limited complexity.
