Job Description
Purpose:
The Delta Faucet Company Omnichannel Retail Team is seeking a BI Developer to turn substantial amounts of data into insights that guide our evidence-driven approach to outpacing market growth. Our team is solving large, ambitious problems such as understanding consumer behavior in an omnichannel market, measuring the impact of various merchandising levers, improving return on investments in online and in-store marketing, influencing the product development roadmap, and empowering team members to quickly respond to shifting market dynamics and consumer desires. We are looking for a strong data analyst with a passion for finding opportunities to drive business value with data, developing action-driving dashboards, guiding business partners in proper use of data to make decisions, and conducting and presenting analyses to team members and business leaders.

Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with team members to learn business operations and identify the analytic needs of various roles
- Design and build intuitive dashboards to enable self-service analytics for our omnichannel sales and marketing teams and business executives
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and identify salient trends and patterns in the data
- Convert findings into impactful recommendations and present compelling story to business leaders
- Support governance of data usage to ensure consistency, including development of data dictionary and guidance/rules on usage of specific metrics
- Establish intuitive data models in Power Query / Power BI
Skills and Experience:
- Consistent record (2+ years) of using data and analytics to drive business decisions and create value
- Expertise in PBI/Power Query, including data modeling, dashboard creation, and DAX
- Experience (2+ years) in developing data models
- Passion for dashboard design and data visualization techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mentality
- Attention to detail and data accuracy. Commitment to quality assurance
- Familiarity with statistics
- Proven stakeholder-management skills including requirement gathering, establishing vision, managing expectations, collecting feedback, continuous improvement, and consistent communication
- Superb communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Power Query M formula language, SQL, Databricks, and/or cloud-based data management a plus
