Job Description

The ChemWatcher BI Developer and Deployment Specialist performs day-to-day management of ChemWatcher and Avocet data. They create web-based visualizations for both internal and external clients, using commercial business intelligence software. They are also involved in supporting setup and deployment of new ChemWatcher projects as well as supporting new requirements/enhancements for existing clients. This is a Headquarters based role meaning it supports global Customer base.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Construction of web-based dashboards and reports using Dundas BI:
  • Support automation and digital data transfer from client and 3rd party data sources

    Support new asset set up in Avocet
  • Field visit when required to support automation and field data capture
  • Primary focal point for cloud/hosting support team (Sensia)
  • Support best practice for data management and reporting to clients within chemical management contracts
  • Provide second line support to ChemWatcher clients

Qualifications and Experience:

  • BSC/BEE in computer science (or related) with 1-3 years' experience with oilfield applications
  • 1-3 years' experience building reports/dashboards with commercial business intelligence software
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases in general
  • Data analysis background
  • Business analysis skills
  • Debugging/troubleshooting
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Previous experience with Avocet is an asset
    • Previous experience with Dundas BI is an asset
    • Experience with User Experience (UX) is an asset
