BI Developer/Functional Analyst - Hybrid

cBEYONData is seeking a BI Developer/Functional Analyst to join a team supporting our federal customer's financial reporting platform. We are looking for someone with experience with Momentum Financials who is open to learning BI Development tools and supporting the functional side of our team with requirements gathering, documentation, developing standard operating procedures, and delivering training. Any technical knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects, SQL queries, or Oracle/HANA databases would be helpful, but is something we can teach the right candidate. 

This is currently a hybrid position with every Tuesday on-site at the client's office in Arlington, VA (Crystal City) with the other 4 days remote. 

Responsibilities:

• Participate in requirements definition meetings to support business analysts from a technical perspective, providing thoughtful input and clearly defined requirements documentation. 
• Draft requirements, designs, SOPs, training, and other documentation for client use. This requires a good eye for grammar and readability. 
• Build new and modify existing reports that use financial, procurement, asset, HR, travel, and other data sources. 
• Perform data analysis on financial reports. 
• Assist with managing tasks related to a year-long migration to a shared reporting service. This could include testing work performed by other developers, ensuring documented traceability to a project plan, helping develop project roadmaps, supporting UAT, and owning technical migration and conversion tasks. 
• Work in a team environment and be eager to learn from more experienced co-workers and subject-matter experts. 
• Communicate in a polished and professional manner with management and clients. 

Requirements:

• Extremely strong written and oral communicator with both co-workers and clients.
• 2+ years of experience with Momentum Financials or as a Business/Functional analyst.
• Secret clearance or higher is preferred, or ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
