THE ROLE:

• Own and define business KPIs, their measurement plans, data requirements and reporting
• Provide technical design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, system, and technical support for BI initiatives
• Be hands-on with ETL to build data pipeline to support automated reporting
• Ensure data quality throughout ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) data, processing, automation, modeling, and reporting
• Build various data visualizations to tell the story of business trends, patterns, and outliers through rich visualizations
• Address ad-hoc reporting requirements and find pathways for automation
• Monitor Dashboard Reporting and Presentation Layer functioning and performance and pro-actively fix issues as found
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, re-designing existing reports for greater scalability, etc.
• Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
• Build and enforce common design patterns to increase report reusability, readability and standardization

YOU:

• 3+ years of professional experience
• 2+ years of experience working in business intelligence, data analytics, Data engineering or a similar role
• 3+ years of experience in building reporting and dashboarding solutions using tools such as Tableau, Sigma, Looker, Superset, PowerBI, etc.
• Expert in Database fundamentals, SQL, and performance tuning
• Experience building reporting and dashboarding solutions using data lake/data warehouses
• Experience working with Snowflake, Redshift, PostgreSQL, and/or other DBMS platforms
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to think strategically, analyze and interpret market and consumer information
