BI Architect

About the Role:

An ideal person will expertise in  BI, data architecture, and analytics strategy. We are looking for someone with deep expertise in designing and scaling BI systems, optimizing data ecosystems, and enabling data-driven decision-making across large and complex organizations. You will work with , data engineers, and cross-functional leaders to drive the development and implementation of BI solutions

The person is expected to be someone who can contribute in developing the practice with relevant experience designing BI architecture. He / She will also be an integral part of the core group which will work towards the growth of the company. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into comprehensive BI solutions, including designing scalable  data architecture and optimized dashboards aligning with industry best practices and emerging BI technologies.
• Guide clients through the entire BI project lifecycle, from initial discovery and requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing optimization.
• Architect data models and data warehousing solutions that support clients’ analytical requirements, including cloud-based data storage, processing, and advanced analytics platforms.
• Expertise designing, building scaling and performance tuning  dashboards
• Oversee performance tuning and optimizations for data processing, ensuring that BI solutions are responsive and meet client expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data science, engineering, and business units, to ensure cohesive and integrated BI solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve and innovate BI solutions for clients, introducing the latest tools, techniques, and best practices.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field. 

Experience:

• 18+ years of experience in BI, data architecture, data warehousing, and analytics, with a strong focus on client consulting.
• Proven track record of leading BI projects across multiple industries and  BI tools -, Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google BigQuery, Azure, Snowflake) and migrations from legacy tools

• Expertise in data modeling, and ETL frameworks (e.g., Informatica, Talend), with proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python).
• Strong understanding of data governance, compliance standards, and data security practices.

• Proven ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality BI solutions on time and within budget.
• Adept problem-solving, strategic thinking, and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to influence stakeholders
